Jacky is simply amazing. She is amazing with the kids, treating them as equals and as important members of the group/team. Not only does she know how to deal with and encourage the positive behaviors of each individual child but they also know how to help the children work through difficult moments- I’ve seen it myself when my son didn’t want to leave the beach. I am just speechless over how amazing they are. But (almost) equally (and I say almost only because they are exceptions) is the program she has created. The activities are thoughtful and varied and designed to give each child the freedom to have some choice while still going out of their comfort zones. My son came home feeling happy, empowered, and tired- what more can I hope for?! I told Jacky- any time she has a group that’s appropriate for my son, we are in! We will gladly miss our regular camp for a day of adventure with Jacky and Kyle.
